Alfredo Jacques - My class

Alfredo Jacques - My class

This is my first poem that I wrote for my class and you guessed it, it's about my class. br br I see the young woman who lived with nuns br and lived to tell about it. The story she tells, has br the atmosphere of coversations with loved ones. br br the women with the scariest precious moment dolls, br I have ever seen in my life. br Her words show me the beauty br in these “decapitated moments, ” br even though they send chills down my spine, br you know what chills. br br Thinking of the blackbelt lady, br who can cry with the best of them, br brings a smile to my face. br br The guy with the life so good br it can be summed up in two words, but br has to be said twice-“Good Times, Good Times.” br br I try not to stare but see the young Greek women br with the beauty that wonders why, so many br eyes fall from her wrist, br I guess you had to be there. br br I see the young lady with the family heirloom, br this ring with the beauty that only just begun to shine. br br The “nerd” as he so kindly put it, br gives hope life can end up like the movies, br at least pretty close. br br Finally, I look up to see the man br with the most precious item of all, a bus ticket br worth a life. I see this man br drowning br in a mobile fish bowl br driving across the desert, unable br to breathe the oxygen he has grown so accustomed to. br The sight of this gentleman fills my heart with pride, br for I see, the strength of mankind and the power of faith.
