Barry Van Allen - Ample Hell

Barry Van Allen - Ample Hell

Everybody wants to grow up in the Sixties, br even those whose date of birth is solid in the Nineties. br That Twenty - Twenty hindsight, br is very, very, blurred. br br Those of us that did, can still remember things that br nostalgia left behind. br The songs were great to us, br the turmoil really wasn't. br br Viet - Nam makes Iraq look like a walk in the park, br 58,000 is the number that you need to know! br I don't know the other one - - - but as a rule - - - br the wounded, both phisically and psycologically br should make you leave your lunch out on the sidewalk! br br PLEASE - - - Don't misunderstand what I am saying! br br When our country called, after 9 11... br our brave men and women did not hesitate! br They tell me that we have now been in Iraq longer br than we were in WW II! br I will say that again GEORGE... br YOUR sons and daughters have now been in Iraq br longer than many of our fathers were in World War Two! br The death toll, so far, is closing in on 3,000! br (Do you remember that other number?) br br I suppose that Kent state is something that you missed br in history class. Martin Luther King means that you don't br have to go to school on that Monday! J.F.K. is an br airport in New York City! The 'Cold War ' means that it br snowed a lot - - - I guess, br br YES, the tunes were great! And often they reflected br what was happenning and I believe that intensity, somehow, br made that music better! br br BUT, don't be fooled kids....
