Dee Daffodil - If Only

Dee Daffodil - If Only

As she lay back in the sand br Sun beating down on her glistening body br She reflected on how good life was br Over the years br She had gathered wealth br Here and there br A piece of gold, a bauble, a trinket br Pretty things...expensive things br br The years had also been kind to her br She still had a body of a woman half her age br Toned and sleek from years of swimming br And a long golden mane br With highlights that sparkled br From years spent on the beach br Cobalt blue eyes, winning smile... br And not a wrinkle to be seen... br Of course she did have to watch br That she didn't get too much sun br br Life was good indeed br She could probably still have br Any man she chose... br br If only she didn't have a tail...
