~I tried~ br br I never made a move past her comfort, br I never acted to make her see me br I never told lies to make myself better br I never Spread rumors so others would flea. br br I tried not to speak out of time br I tried not to make her out of place br I tried to stay on the topic br I tried not to make moves to her face, br br She never seemed to want to be with me br She never tried to hug me at all br She never gave a gesture to kiss her br She wasn't there to catch me at all br br I went to her house, just to see her br I went on long walks in the rain br I went to the park to be with her br I knew it was all just the same br br I knew I wouldn't get her attention br I knew I was being overlooked br I knew I wouldn't even get meantioned br The thoughts made me shudder and shook br br But as I lay here and I wonder br about what would of happened if I stayed br but the thoughts are broken and under br and the meaning as gotten so frayed br br So off with the forgotten attemtps br its worth nothing to anyone now br my attempts never worked out br and im still trying to figure out how.
