A lemon's sour, br Not bitter as you exclaim br So the fruit makes you pucker br And for that there is no shame. br br When it get a little well chosen aid br From sugar and ice in a glass br It becomes a treat for time spent in the shade br And improving that, I'm afraid, the fruits aren't up to the task. br br As for the avocado that's so rich and creamy br It's enhanced by the addition of the lemon br Which makes it a friend not an enemy br So best to enjoy, what we've come to depend on. br br Changing the lemon would be a shame. br br sbr br Sidi J.
