Patricia Gale - In Memory of Sir Curley

Patricia Gale - In Memory of Sir Curley

Beautiful brown mixed with black and white br Eyes that sparkled with the call of going out into nature br Faithful and loyal, true friendship br br A darken morning you went out the door br Passed your boundaries not a sound was heard br Helpless and injured br br A single insensitive human act br Left me crying and you fighting for your life br How could they just drive away, leave you there? br br You tried to fight but time had taken its toll br Younger days had graced your eyes br And the canine pup had seen eleven years pass br br I held you in my arms as he said there’s no hope br As your final breath was drawn br We said goodbye and my heart will never be the same br br We moved to the country for room to run br Now you run heaven’s golden streets br I lost my best friend from one act from an insensitive human br br I took you home to your final resting place br Beside your favorite spot, the big red barn br Near the garden where we played br br I wonder this house empty and void br A piece of me lays out back near the big red barn br And your picture remains on the fireplace br br br br br In memory of Sir Curley who died April 18,2007 br My friend and companion for eleven years br The most loyal German Shepherd a woman could havebr br Patricia Galebr br
