You laugh at me, when I came in class br held your nose, as I walked on pass. br br Pointed your fingers, called me a name's br walked to my desk, my head hung in shame. br br My clothes were old, ragged and tore br the long sleeves covered, all of the sores. br br Was a very hot day and the teacher asked br if didn't mind, would I sit in back of the class. br br Tried hard as I could, to sit real still br but the pain hurts bad, that I still feel. br br I tried hard to tell, but no one cared br beatings at home, was my worse fear. br br I wanted to cry, cause it hurt me bad br the pain I feel inside, really makes me sad. br br Tears came down, like drops of rain br the teacher noticed, that I was in pain. br br They called me to the office, said I was insane br because I didn't, wanna try to explain. br br They knew that day, that I couldn't say br I got home, there would be hell to pay. br br Broken bones, wasn't anything new to them br like finding a tree and breaking off a limb. br br The pain that I got, will never go away br cause it's still in my mind and I feel it today.
