I strolled through the countryside br To merely look the scenery over. br I rambled through fields of new vegetation br Of sprawling grass and clusters of clover. br br I marveled at what nature had created, br And was amazed at the majestic, mountain sight. br My troubled thoughts seemed to fade there - br It was quite an astonishing delight. br br The fruit trees budding fresh with blossoms br All gloriously emerging in pink and white, br And bees in search of pollen and nectar, br A variety of birds in graceful flight. br br I was impressed by nature's ardent display, br And cherish the moment of Spring's returning br With wild flowers laden with colorful petals, br My mind embedded with a deeper yearning.br br Joseph T.
