As children we are taught to respect our elders br but later, at some point during our formative years br we learn things about our parents and grandparents br or an Uncle Bill....that make us examine 'Truth'. br And we give pause to the facts...... br if they would lie to us about Santa being real br or about touching little cousin Sally's Hoochie Coo br what else is out there....waiting to befall us? br Mom smoked pot with Clinton in the sixties? br Dad had an affair with Elisabeth Taylor and I'm the Love Child? br Gramps used to beat his wife but was basically a good man... br he just didn't like the way Granny chewed her food? br Bishop O' Hara took our confessions as well as our innocence? br And we give pause to the facts....that rack our little brains.... br Soon we believe that every one is insane...and so we rebel br against the Hell of Hypocrisy....at least until we grow up br and become 'more like or parents'.... br because we figured it out that pretty much everyone br especially ourselves....... is a hypocrite br Otherwise....
