Dear God where are you? br br I looked up at the sky one sad painful day br Through my darkness anger and pain I saw br Beautiful hues of blissful blues br Clouds Billowing like Sheets of silken dreams br Vanilla ice cream swirls of cotton candy br I could almost taste yet not touch br Unreachable untouchable br So out of reach br Where are you? br I silently screamed br You said you would always be here br Yet I do not see you br Dear God where are you? br br I closed my eyes stood on my toes and reached out br I Prayed br Dear god, help me br I Whispered br Dear god, forgive me br I Cried and begged br Dear god, love me, for I will always be your child br br Swaying in the breeze feeling the winds sweep through my hair br To my ears came a sweet melody making my heart dance with joy br Then from a parting in the clouds came the hand of god br I witnessed it beckoning to me reassuring and so softening br I took his hand and sat upon a cloud and he enveloped me br Soothing energising and exhilarating br Touching caressing my entire being br And in his softness and warmth br I felt wanted and loved found forgiveness br I found him for he lives in my heart and not in the clouds br br I dedicate this poem to everyone who is looking for God….
