Grandma’s home was special br My second home you see br I enjoyed my brother’s horse too br Who loved to visit with me br br I had lunch with Grandma every day br During school in the early days br She made the most delicious lunch br In her kitchen without delay br br So many memories I recall br Such loving thoughts of her br I remember too the smokehouse br Where hams were left to cure br br The cellar where she stored vegetables br Through winter for a delicious meal br Oh yes, I loved the food br That had that Grandma’ seal br br I loved my loving Grandma br So beautiful when she was young br And every wrinkle so special br As an older lady she had become br br Yes, many special memories br That I’ll have forever, you see br I smile as I turn back the clocks br For Grandma meant so much to me!br br Marilyn Lottbr br
