Your poems are of the heart that speaks. br And they are what makes you unique. br Each one different than before. br Leaving others just wanting more. br br But it's not just a poem you share. br It's often times your soul you bare. br A precious and beautiful gift of the heart br and when others read they share a part. br br You may think it's just a poem br But when read by others in their homes. br They may read what they want to see, br and it may not be what you wanted perceived. br br So that's when you receive a comment, br that leaves your head spinning, spent. br Asking...'Where did this come from? br Oh my goodness what have I done! ' br br You should never let someone stifle you br For there are no rules for what we do. br That's why we read and write poetry. br It lets us be who we want to be.
