Man asks… br br Omnipotent God! Why do the wicked prosper br when their thoughts are evil all the time? br Why are they in health while others are dying br when in arrogance they say, “There is no God? ” br Their pride is their master br And money is their joy br Yet whatever they do, succeeds br When they speak, everyone listens br Even the righteous believe them br br God answers… br br Did I not tell you? br That my thoughts are not your thoughts, br neither are your ways my ways? br How can man with a finite mind like you br Able to comprehend the thoughts br Of an infinite being like me? br You know about righteous Job br Who suffered for a reason br Everything has a reason br And whether I choose to reveal it or not br That’s my prerogative br For I am God and I am sovereign.
