Ted Sheridan - I Don't Do Weddings, Funerals Or Reunions Because Someone Always Dies

I don't do or go to funerals... br weddings or reunions of any kind... br I refuse to accept the misplaced guilt for not being nice br before.... when the dead were still among the living... br or for not telling the bride or groom br they were making a mistake about the other one.... br or seeing the people who you didn't like then br or the people you knew didn't like you.... br and now you both pretend you were best of friends... br To me I would rather stay home and miss the gossip br chow down on some of my wife's left over potato salad br with some broiled Catfish and asparagus spears br And wait for my wife to return and filter the details br Give me the head's up on what or WHO went down... br She nearly always tells me horror stories mixed with fairy tales br and then kisses me in an understanding way br telling me she will be taking my position the next time... br Though she never does... br and this is why I love her with all the love I have...
