David Taylor - Your Eyes

David Taylor - Your Eyes

A rustling of leafy canopy br announces a sweeping breath br with a silvery clattering like br dampened crystal or paper chimes br with all sharpness lost to gustiness br of wind swept skies reflecting br in your luscious deep blue eyes. br br A dryness only in my mouth br as all about rejoices in soft rain br which gently falls as we take refuge br In a small secluded cave br its coolness no match to subdue br the heat and steam that rises br As our eyes meet, me and you. br br A smell so tender and so sweet br mixed from the dampened grass br and perspiration of another kind br that which with expectation may arise br one that’s kindled into roaring flames br by the yearning in our eyes.
