I'm not saying David's blue br I'll leave that thought up to you br This is just a tale of Dodgy Dave br and how it seems to rain on his parade br br You see many years ago starts the tale here br On a day that was oh so clear br Not a dropp of rain in sight br But listen to Dodgy Dave's plight br br It had rained the day before br and David was waiting at the bus shelter door br Now this bus shelter's roof is flat br and this is where a big rain puddle sat br br A gust of wind came along br which lent too David's sad song br Water whipped off the shelter and all over Dave br As if he was just hit by a tidal wave br br His suit now soaked to the skin br Up pulls the bus much too David's chagrin br The bus driver steps out to check the blue sky br Which just left the bus driver mystified br br David explained it's just me br It follows me where ever I go you see br A dark rain cloud that follows Dave br Always raining on his parade br br So that's how Dodgy Dave grew to be so tall br It waters the manure is his boots....
