Delilah Miller - Chicago Streets

Delilah Miller - Chicago Streets

So good to be home br and out of the heat. br All those excess people reminded I'm alone br as I explored the busy Chicago streets. br br So good to be mild br and not full of heat. br All those old buildings reminded I'm only a child br as I explored the ancient Chicago streets. br br So good to be recognized br and not sweating in the heat. br All those dollars spent reminded me of the love I'm still denied. br as I explored the poor Chicago streets. br br So good to be back from running away br and back from the heavy, humid heat. br All of the luggage and vacations reminded me problems come to stay. br as I left, for a long time, those Chicago streets.
