Bob Blackwell - Water

Bob Blackwell - Water

The spirit of life, br spreads everywhere, br to all corners of our globe. br Rain, mist, fog, snow, br form lakes, rivers, br babbling running brooks; br the carriers of life’s soul br life’s bountiful br identity and joy. br br Without it, br grasses brown, br trees rot and fall, br no leaves, flowers, br seeds, or fruit; br no shade, no scent, br no colour, food. br br Animals, people, die; br no creatures great or small. br Deserts of want appear br no life or giving; br there is a thirst upon the land. br In time, all will wither, br wilt, rot and die. br Then a dirt, an ash br a sandy earth of want, br no open hand, br all life has gone. br br More valuable than gold, br a treasure for us all. br use wisely, it is life.
