*this poem was written about a friend, br and what she is going thru these days* br i quit cutting a while back br and im doing good br no slits on my wrists, br no blood going down my arm, br everything was fine br i had even quit using my 'rubber buddy' br br but its not so easy br when your family is like mine br an alchoholic dad, br who's acts more like a kid than i do br hes always yelling br and calling me names br a stubborn sister, br who loves to blackmail me br br and who acts like i get everything br when everything=all of their crap br a god worshiping mother, br who thinks im the one causing her to take meds br she blames me when mistakes happen br she even thought i was pregnant one time br but as hard as it was, br i held back the anger, the hurt, every feeling br br and now i wana let it loose br the tamed lion wants out! br i promised my brother, br i wouldnt cut again br and i have to stick to my promise br no matter what! br but every now and then br i catch myself, looking at the razorblade againbr br Selena Starbr br
