Sonnet #1 br I’m not quite sure how to write a sonnet br So I’ll start with just a few simple lines. br If I correctly write this sonnet br All of it should rhyme. br br It was not so quiet, br That you should hear a pin drop. br You could blame the riot. br I suppose I’ll just eat this old gumdrop. br br And so I began to ponder, br My glorious days of old, br To which I wonder br If are even stale enough to have grown mold. br br And this is what I thought, br The day that I was caught. br br (August 27,2007) br ~this i wrote today for a school assignment. it is my first and probably my last sonnet. lol. it was harder to write than i thought it would be.
