Jemarie Ragudo - You Shall Rise Again

Jemarie Ragudo - You Shall Rise Again

Slowly, as dusk unfolds the br Brilliance of the night sky br When the sun’s majestic glory br Gives way to the dominance br Of the seductive moon br The myriad of sparkling beauties br Lend grandeur to the back draft br Of the magical kingdom br Where their mistress sits enthroned br br And for what seems like eternity br The moon lay content br In the worship of mortals below br Songs were sung and br Poems were laid as offering br To the queen of the night br As laughter can be seen br In the brilliance of her light br br But the morning comes br Bringing with it the vengeance br Of the rising sun br And no matter how the stars br Nurtured the dying glory br Of their beloved moon br Fate must prevail and br Dominance must end br At the appointed time br In agony the night whispers br As dawn breaks’ br “Hush, my mistress, br You shall rise again.
