Enduring in this life of pain and sorrow br Dreading what the next day will hold br I have learned a lot of things in my life mainly how to let go br But have come to a new found respect of how to embrace br br All the mystery in this life had fleeted from me br But now I find myself confounded in the wonder of seeing your face br Your eyes glowing seeking me in the darkness br I no longer feel alone br Beckoned to come closer br Impelling me to come home br br Blood I see on my hands br But not that of my own br You look at me br And your eyes as fire penetrate my soul br Uncovering things I thought were hidden well br br I open my mouth in my defense br But before the words could escape my lips br My heart speaks br Testifying against me br Feeling betrayed I dropp my head in shame br br Fear grips me and I try to run away br However my feet are froze in their tracks br Just then voices of accusers ring in my ears br Overflowing within me are fountains of despair br And the vanity of my life mocks me and laughs in my face br Overcrowding me from grace br br How can I lie? br With all these voices that surround br Who will hear mine? br I fall to the ground br Tears flow and roll down my cheeks br br And at a feeble attempt to plea for my life br I lift my head to meet your eyes br Astonished by what I see br br The voices have stopped br And it is only you and me br No words are spoken and yet I hear br Do not fear br The fire in your eyes is quenched br You stretch out to me your hand br Love encompassing me with your smile br Raising me to stand br br I reach out back and notice the blood has vanished br And they unite br You turn and we start walking br Off into the night br Step by step in your foot prints br I am guided and surrounded br by your light br And my journey begins br With you at my side.
