Brianna Wilshusen - Cinderella

Brianna Wilshusen - Cinderella

This week I ran, br I ran from home. br My father was cruel, br He treated me like, br A simple slave child. br br I ran to a friends, br Trying to leave town. br We almost escaped, br Then he saw us, br He took me straight home. br br Once we arrived, br I packed all my things. br As he begged me to stay, br He said something was wrong, br He wasn't sure what. br br He went to the phone, br I ran out the back. br To my friends once more, br The cops have soon come, br They said, 'we can do not'. br br So know here I am, br A run away girl. br No more treated as if, br I am Cinderella, br Without a kind prince. br br But a prince I need not, br For I have many friends. br With many a true, br I hold them all close, br For I am Cinderella. br And one day I'll have my Prince.
