I saw a Buffalo one day br An animal that is so immense br I was walkin’ along the road br And suddenly I grew extremely tense br br I thought I’d keep on walkin’ br Perhaps he wouldn’t even see br If I was on the other side of the road br Maybe he wouldn’t notice me br br I slowly crossed the road br But the closer he became br I thought of many escapes br But they all were pretty lame br br Then he stopped completely still br I froze right where I stood br He slowly turned his massive head br And then I understood br br Here came another Buffalo br Who obviously was a lady br Walking kind of anxiously br And by her side was a baby br br He started then toward them br And much to my surprise br He greeted them so lovingly br Right before my eyes!br br Marilyn Lottbr br
