Marilyn Lott - Yesterday’s Pleasures

Marilyn Lott - Yesterday’s Pleasures

Once again I looked to the past br Photos helped me to see br My younger self appear again br Nestled in a box so faithfully br br So long ago at Christmas time br We were younger then you see br My sister, Clara, brother, Robert br Who shared a childhood with me br br Clara played piano at the church br Robert sang sweet harmony br We celebrated Jesus then br Loving Him so tremendously br br Winters come and go that’s true br But you never forget the ones br When we were so much younger br Like in the snow having so much fun br br And then there are the photos br Many years later of my children br Precious sweet happy smiles br When they too were very young br br The years pass by so quickly br And each one we must treasure br Looking behind us from time to time br To remember yesterday’s pleasuresbr br Marilyn Lottbr br
