ANDREW BLAKEMORE - The Wonder Is You

ANDREW BLAKEMORE - The Wonder Is You

The springtime is dawning, the flowers are blooming, br The hawthorns and hedgerows with blossoms of snow, br The cold days and warm days, sunshine and showers, br The rainbows so pretty their colours aglow. br And all I believe in and all I am longing, br The grey skies above are turning to blue, br And I've found a lover and beauty surrounds me, br All through the seasons the wonder is you. br br The summer is warming the green fields and pastures, br The forests and woodlands, alive in their song, br While rivers are flowing, and shining in sunlight, br With waters so pure it is here I belong. br She's all I have wanted and all that I needed, br She's someone so special, at first sight I knew, br That I've found a lover and beauty surrounds me, br All through the seasons, the wonder is you. br br The autumn the falling, with leaves ever-changing, br The ambers and auburns are blending as one, br With harvests of gold and the sunsets of crimson, br Are burning like fire as my hopes carry on. br And all I have wished for I now have been given, br A reason for living my dream has come true, br Now I've found a lover and beauty surrounds me, br All through the seasons, the wonder is you. br br The winter so cold, yet the scenery glistens, br With snowfalls like crystal and landscapes of white, br And the sight of the mountains that are reaching to heaven, br As the stars softly gleam in the frosts of the night. br And all I have pictured and the sights I have witnessed, br I will now remember each marvellous view, br For I've found a lover and beauty surrounds me, br All through the seasons, the wonder is you.
