Hannah McGill - When the Rain Begins to Fall

Hannah McGill - When the Rain Begins to Fall

When the clouds begin to form br And the rain begins to fall br Listen closely, you may just feel it's call br That is why when the floods begin to pour br Or tears begins to drop br You won't find find me in a dry, dreary, shop br br Listen closely, you may just hear it's plead br If you can hear it, please answer the need br When the water comes down by the liter br I don't take cover in a movie theater br Oh no, when the rain begins to fall br I'll go out br Dance, Jump, and Scream about br I'll swirl and twirl all around br So fast, i just can't possibly frown br br You may think its strange, br The way I love the rain br But you see, that's how the rain is to me br It's a time to change, br And a time to be free br br Before the rain comes, br It's to hot for the flowers to shine br To humid for the birds to tweet a lullby br To dry for the bees to collect their sweet pollen br To perfect for the mosquitos not to feast br On the fresh, sweaty meat br br Just when it seems br That this blistering heat will never fade br Rain comes rushing to your aid br It drowns out the sorrows of yesterday br br But look around, what do you see? br Because all around me, br The flowers are shining br The birds are lullabying br And the mosquitoes - thank god- are running br br So i'm sorry if when the rain comes br I can't help but jump and yell br 'Hip Hip Hooray' br Because when the rain comes br To me its a promise of a brand new daybr br Hannah McGillbr br
