David Taylor - The Puzzle of Life

David Taylor - The Puzzle of Life

After some time sifting through br the myriad of pieces br he found four 'corner stones' br and carefully put them in place br and faced with a bewildering array br of shapes and colours br he decided to start at the edge br and work his way to the centre. br Each piece that had a facet br both straight and true br he put to one side br and joined them to make br a frame of reference. br br What next he thought br how to find the whole picture? br He began somewhat randomly br trying a variety of pieces br in many places. br His haste and optimism br sometimes pressing them into places br where they did not sit with ease. br Perhaps the maker br did not cut them all true he mused. br But through errors revealed br by the other parts br correctly placed br he grew to trust the feel, br if its place was true. br br His attention refining br and with clearer sight br of the whole br that was emerging br he speeded in his task br with each step more sure br that each piece was right. br And as he neared the end br it was as if his hand knew br without thinking where to go. br He watched with nothing left to do br as formed in front of him br the image he had always known br was there but before br strangely fragmented br in his ardent stare. br br Now it is complete br and displays for real br the splendour that is whole, complete. br where before, for creations sake br a puzzle did the maker make? br What now he mused br perhaps another has br a puzzle not yet made whole br in his sight. br Perhaps he may be of some help br if they would call and ask br how to see just one br in the seeming many br that need be joined br until the puzzles solved.
