David Kowalczyk - Memories Of Pagan Gods

David Kowalczyk - Memories Of Pagan Gods

For as long as I can remember, br my life has been something br inflicted upon me rather than br something I've chosen to live. br br This room smells of sick animals. br I struggle to scratch hieroglyphs br expressing my hideous descent br into perceived sanity. br br Down and down my heart goes, br wriggling out of a hole in br the sole of my left shoe. br br I nod my head, clap my hands, br make a joyful noise. br I stare at the sun until my eyes br are cinders. br br I can never claim the title br of victim until I identify exactly br what the victor has separated from me.
