My heart askew and my brain out of place br I narrowly escape insanity on a daily basis br fuzzy clouds of sorrow and regret br that I lay my head on each night br unable to concentrate on anything but my pulse br I will myself to numbness, nothingness br in a walking coma, I hear voices but no words br I see faces but don’t recognize my reflection. br I want to scream but haven’t the energy, br so instead I bury myself under my blankets of despair br and pray that the world will go away.
