Ayesha Sartawi - Arabian sacrifice

Ayesha Sartawi - Arabian sacrifice

Melting yellow sun br pale surviving camels br no where or way to run br deserts full of symbols and temples br br you look at me although its forbidden br you know the risk is high br you realize your committing a sin br yet you beg me to meet you or claim to die br br I don’t mind, knowing the consequence br eyes lay upon us and watch so accurately br we speak by eye contact we leave no evidence br everything seems to work out correctly br br Then we no longer manage to hide br we realize anything is easier then separation br we are hurting and burning inside br we suffer gradually of desperation br br we appear together for the first time br some look at us with envy and jealousy br some despise us and count it a crime br Then send us to his majesty br br we try to explain we shout we cry br with no justification he simply rejects br we beg we bend on our knees we try br with his cold words he loadly objects br br he threatens our lives as we leave forever br puddles of blood fill up the empty smooth ground br if we cant live together then we shall die together br that’s the last they said before killed with no soundbr br Ayesha Sartawibr br
