Francis Duggan - The Knockers

Francis Duggan - The Knockers

They give her no credit they go to her past br Say that she was ex druggie and her new look won't last br She once worked in a brothel on sleaze side of town br And though she lives clean now they still put her down. br A family woman to good man good wife br And with two lovely children she live a clean life br But the knockers still knock her such cruel things they say br And her past held against her it won't go away br And the knockers still knock her it doesn't seem quite fair br As she's changed for the better and her type are so rare br And though the knockers too many and the fair minded too few br Credit ought be given where credit is due br And if you are not perfect yourself then leave others alone br As the one without sin ought to cast the first stone.
