Mary Havran - zPt #5 A Single Flower

If I could choose a single gift br to give to all mankind br I’d walk calmly to the backyard garden br where against the fence I’d find br a single flower, that grew br and bloomed in the spring br to wave in gentle breezes br and through it’s silence sing br the praises of the pure virtue, Love br and assure all men that there is good. br br br Mary Havran br br (Written when poet was twelve years old) br br A note to the reader: I have recently spent some time revisiting my earliest poetic efforts and upon reflection have decided to post some on this site. Poems whose titles are prefixed with the designation “zPt” are poems written during my preteen years. I hope you find them interesting.
