David Taylor - Travelling The Highway

David Taylor - Travelling The Highway

Driving down the highway br its late and getting dark. br Bright lights of traffic br making my heavy eyes diminish br in the keenness of their sight. br I park and take a needed rest br but still the tiredness stays br like the foreboding, dark and rushing clouds br that are bringing down the rain. br br Then I remember Your quiet presence br and my awareness rushes out, br past the tired momentum br of my driving late at night. br Your presence surrounds me br and takes the role away br of the fatigued and tired man br which I thought that I had played. br br You guided me and took the strain br as I drove on through the dark and rain br and delivered me both safe and sound br as together we traversed br the way upon this planet Earth.
