That girl in the corner alone and out of place. br That girl well shes me. br This place is school. br Where nothing matters beside popularity. br Everyone is to be the prettiest or the best. br But me i sit here alone in this corner. br br For me this place is bad. br But its also my escape from home. br No one knows what goes on it my world. br You'll never be anything she tells me. br This is after she has had 4 to many and hasnt passed out yet. br He was an acoholic. br Fleeing while he still could from this hell. br Just to leave me her and the baby inside. br He is little and has no clue what goes on. br Why does mommy yell? he asks. br Its nothing i say. br Shes nothing. br She starts her screaming fits with a man she is seeing. br His name? br Not a clue because she doesnt even know. br Baby boy wants to know if he daddy. br No. br We dont have one i reply. br He sits on his bed with his crayons while she drinks herself silly. br I cover his ears with my headphones. br Trying to sheild him from the cold world. br But she stubbles in to yell at me. br Im worthless and br if i wasnt here she could have done something with her life. br This is what is slurred out of her mouth. br Not now Not Tonight. br Just go to bed. br A slap hits me in the cheek. br My cheek gets red and hot stinging. br br This is no place that i should be in. br I cant live here. br For this is hell at its finest.
