It is so beautiful, nice and round br Like a balloon you blow br Spreading light across the night br With it’s warm and golden glow br White clouds cover its baldhead br As though to protect it from the eerie night br And when another cloud takes over br It says farewell and takes flight br Glowing brighter and brighter br As the night grows more and more dark br Lighting up the streets, br My terrace and the park br Rising fast above the horizon br As though in a haste br As though it had no time to lose br No time at all to waste br It yawned and said, br “Now nap time, let me go to the other side” br And before it went to sleep br It looked at our beautiful earth and sighed.
