Though torn and tattered like a ship out at sea br My Lord Jesus saw a reason to rescue me br br He took me into his loving care and cleansed br Me from every sin and fear and doubt once more br He opened unto me his forgiving and merciful door br br Entered I therein to sup with him telling him all br Of my worries and strife br Telling him of my struggle to do anything br Worthwhile or pleasing to him in this life br br He said to me dear child of mine br Do not forget that some things you did br For others you did it unto me; br Lending a helping hand when someone br Needed strength to carry on br Reaching out to others in their times of need br Or child how about the times you planted within br The lost and hopeless my loving seed? br br The tears rolled down upon my cheeks br As I buried my head upon his shoulders br And cried away all pain life had dealt to me br Once again I joyfully arose from my knees and br Felt forgiven and oh so free! br br Though I failed and failed again br Jesus still saw goodness and not just sin in me too br He forgave me and taught me tonight br That this is the same thing he wants me to do- br br Forgive myself for I have more work br To do for God, I must use each moment like it is my last br I must not mope and go through life or live in the past… br br Take my hand and boldly stand br Resist others who seem not to notice your loving heart br I will be beside you when you fail I shall prosper your thoughts br And your days shall be more bearable -as we walk hand in hand! br “Sayeth the Lord”-amen br ©Copyright 11208 Becky LaPrariebr br Becky LaPrariebr br
