Sulaiman Mohd Yusof - Don't bring me back to the orphanage

The bell has rang br Faces of cheers mirrored across the classrooms br Packing their beg eagerly br Running to the compound br Awaiting parents waiting anxiously br Their loved ones are their reason br To live and let live br For me, life is a torment br Innocent face full of grief br br Colors of love br Painted with affection br Brushed with kisses br Warmed with hugs br I watched them from the waiting bench br The children are singing with joy br Chorused by lovely caretakers br And the four wheels br Unhesitant fetch them home br A home sweet home br br This is the world, which I lived in br Too young to understand br What’s suffering means? br Agony and pain br Are my breakfast br Quenching my thirsts br But still hunger br The longing would be longer br Until You take me away to foster br A long lost link with them br Auntie Helen, please br Don’t bring me back to the orphanage br Should I resist br I’d be rage br Persist br And intense br Too young to understandbr br Sulaiman Mohd Yusofbr br
