IMeditation on Mark 10: 17 - 31I br br He departed in sorrow. br Where had he failed? br He could have built Jesus br a mega-church, br the pride of all Judea, br in just exchange br for a ticket to paradise. br br Instead the one who would br pay the price br for all of our heavenly rooms br had counselled him most strangely, br br     I“Give all that you have to the poor br     then you will gain what you lack.”I br br The man rose from his knees - br dignity tossed to the winds. br He’d come in hope br of acquiring more br not squandering all he had gained. br br He was last seen combing Judea br in search of a miniature camel br to thread through a jumbo sized needle.
