GREENWOLFE 1962 - Living Truth

GREENWOLFE 1962 - Living Truth

I write today of living, br My years of loving you. br I take note of my passing, br A milestone, one or two. br br The milestone that I noticed, br The one you'll notice too; br The one that points me homeward, br My love, still strong and true. br br The milestone nearly missing, br My truth of life, no less; br Noting I still love you so, br Though obvious, I guess. br br It seems it's just been moments, br But no, it's many years; br That portion of my lifetime, br Spent loving you in tears. br br I've got all love required. br Though saying it is wrong; br What's left of this, my lifetime, br Will not be quite as long. br br Today, I'll take for granted br This truth until I die; br Still solaced by the knowledge, br My love, was not a lie.
