I hate two line poems br I don'tstretch the truth br As far as I can br Embellish it a bit br My pencil doesn’t know when to quit br Bend and balance on a fence br I may teeter to the right br Views a tad abstentious br But I try with all my might br Not erase what is obvious br Two line poems aren't even a sentence br Just a thought that raced past one of your senses br I try to see more than what is there br A dark beauty in a dark hole br A rainbow of hope escapes my mind br A two line poem is a death sentence to grammar br Left at the starting line of creativity br I come not to praise them but to bury them br Open your heart to a world of word wonder br A two line poem I cannot ponderbr br Alfred Ramosbr br
