Ted Sheridan - Little Smiles After the Rains

Ted Sheridan - Little Smiles After the Rains

The heavy rains had at finally passed br and it was the new Sun’s turn to shine br The little man looked up and out from under br his protective toadstool, his tiny eyes beaming br with the anticipation his big heart had felt when last br he’d known his world safe; when any trace br of the Giants had all but been destroyed br by the flood and aftereffects of their deadly sins… br He had seen them coming from afar one day br with their flags flying high and he could hear br their drum beats of war and death; he shook br from the shockwaves they caused afoot. br He trembled but did not run from the onslaught of evil; br he knew birds would be birds and men would be men br and both would squawk and talk about br the worlds impending doom, but to him all was simple.
