I ask myself everyday br And want to know today br What brightens my day br What lightens my way br br For I feel life is slipping by br Anf troubles are flowing high br And the words of love and hope br Are lost and now I cannot cope br br For the dreams that I've dreamt br And the words that I've meant br Are all losing its glory and charm br And I'm losing peace and calm br br Please God help me to follow br The path of hope and swallow br The bitter bite and realities of life br So I can get back on hope's drive br br And once again can bring back smile br And avail it for all for a while br And take a break from struggle and pain br And calculate the cost of hope and fain.
