So many little ones sit in wonderment br Sitting and waiting far, far away - br Your friends go before you br Waving with happy, hopeful faces. br Will your turn ever come, you cry? br br Where are mommy and Daddy? br Death came too quickly for some. br Others have given up hopes and dreams, br For life has dealt them terrible blows, br Leaving their babies to ache and yearn. br br And here I sit pondering our fortune - br One beautiful son we have been blessed. br So much love overflows in our family br Surely one more sacred miracle awaits us. br Could it be a little one who sits far away? br br His face is bare and his age unknown - br But tears are heard at night by our bedside. br He calls out to be loved by someone. br Our work is done, the month is coming. br Do not be afraid, son, you’ll soon be home. br br br http: allpoetry.
