Haiku Mitchell - A Wondering Mind of What Could Have Been

Here I am again sitting here with nothing to do br br My mind begins to wonder where I wish it dare not go br br To an absent past of me and you br br My soul’s forbidden fruit I know br br br But this does not stop my stubborn mind br br I begin to wonder, I begin to presume br br Of what might have been had life been more kind br br Why am I tortured with your selfish doom? br br br I do not hate you for it, I just want to understand br br But then again maybe not br br I can not explain this feeling in my heart’s wonderland br br Blame, desertion, anger, or just forgot br br br No, those I have withdrew br br It is, not knowing what might have been there br br And only imagining what could have been true br br Would you love me, would you approve, should I care br br After all who left who? br br br No that is not fair for I do not know br br Perhaps you left because you must br br I wonder, did you regret it or were you glad to go br br I tell my self neither I can trust br br br But none of this rids the tears from my eyes br br Why did you leave me, why did you go? br br What made you take God’s greatest prize? br br Oh how I miss you sobr br Haiku Mitchellbr br
