A seed germinates in mother Earth. br It receives the Water underneath. br It comes out of its seasonal trance- br Looks up towards the Sky for light- br Feels the Wind, breathes and carries- br The burning Fire for its growth br br And grow it does upwards and downwards- br The two growths equal in magnitude- br To seat the Tree on the earth- br The growth directions different br br Its karma, face down rooted deep, rests. br Its outward consequences remain exuberant. br They weather down all storms and lightning- br All cyclones, gales, fires and floods br One day thence it goes uprooted. br Karma ceases, it does not last. br All those consequences vanish. br br A life once mooted once derived- br Thus goes into oblivion. br His Manifestation is this. br Upside down is illusion ours. br To comprehend it, is beyond human reach.
