When I first saw you, your were so small br You didn't seem like a baby at all br Laying in your fish-bowl crib br I could count your every rib br Hooked to wires, you were a scary sight br Basking under the jaundice lights br The doctors said you might not survive br But you fought so hard to stay alive br I had my fears br I shed some tears br But slowly you began to grow br Your were no longer skin and bones br A tiny angel sent from above br We showered you with all our love br br ©Rebekah J (age 12) May 2008br br Rebekah Johbr br
