If I were a tiny sprout of grass in the Garden of Eden, br would God have noticed me and mentioned to the br Angels how He admired my smooth br stem and the emerald green of my blade? br br Would God have created the rain for me br to grow and become a vast plain of grass br covering a whole valley and reaching to the br thighs of Jesus when He walked the earth? br br Would I have moved in the wind and br sheltered some tiny animals and provided br sustenance for the bigger ones and then be br the fuel for the fire which would ultimately destroy me? br br Is there sense to existence if the end is always death? br Or shal I be happy to be this little sprout of grass br and revel in the sun shining on my blade today br and bow down humbly to God's earth and pray?br br YURI DURAANbr br
