Red and manly cheeks br make me so vulnerable, br I tease and further tease br seeing him in red-blushes br from ear to ear, br br love-soaked love br I get in response br when I go naughty br and I hear loving words br flowing into my ears, br dissolving me all br in his embrace, br br He plucks an unripen fruit br climbing atop a tree br risking his life for me br waiting for an appreciation br for all the hard work he has done. br br A twinkle in his eye br just like a small school boy br always waiting for my nod br as his world revolves around me br making me feel so proud. br br When he is questioned br for the grocery, I asked to bring br he sheepishly grins, telling 'he forgot' br next moment he observes my anger br for on the table grocery is neatly rested. br br His long sturdy fingers br tenderly play with my hair br lovingly, try to detangle them br looking deep into my eyes br causing all butterflies inside. br br I feel so blessed br to be part of his life br his strength, his weakness br affection and love br all reserved just for me.
