Africa the mother; br She gives the milk which sustains all nations br She feeds through earthly riches dug from her womb br She shelters the morals of truth and humanity br Knowing full well the tragidies of her shredded cloth br This woman is weeping to see her children die br of starvation when her house is built of gold and diamond br And so brothers kill, like apes for a stickful of honey br their rags and rugged hands have no notion of money br It is for money that their fathers died before br Now within each other they kill the more br She screams: you bullies and ignorant kids! br Now red tears like thick veils flow down my face br Stringing pains from what I see br My children killing me. br It seems, that killing and raping and burning br each other is their way of increasing their earning.
